iPhone Series – A Quick Overview

By on Sep 27, 2014 in Blog, News | 0 comments

So we’ve concluded our look back into time for the iPhone series.  I think you’d agree that it’s been a bit of a rollercoaster, from the ground breaking technology that first launched the iPhone 2 to the speed and agility of the iPhone 5S. The recent release of the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Max is another push from Apple to try and diversify the range further, or as some think; to try and level their technology with competitors.

However, you can’t help but feel that there hasn’t been anything ground breaking on the phone for a while. With Android phones taking up more and more market share, will the iPhone always be around? Well with the introduction of the new Applepay payment method, iTunes market leadership and the iPad positioning in the tablet market, we don’t think they’re going any where.

If you missed our nostalgic trip down memory lane for the iPhone series here a quick recaps of what we covered:

iPhone 2
iPhone 3
iPhone 3GS
iPhone 4G
iPhone 4S

iPhone 5S

On reflection of the series, it’s clear that technology is certainly keeping up with demand. But unless you’re a tech savvy person that wants the best tech available, we’d suggest at least waiting a couple of generation before you upgrade your phone. Your iPhone 4 will certainly provide you with enough Oomph to run anything on the app store.

Here at Tech Repaired we help our customers repair and revive their old phones. Not just because it’s our job but becuase we care. We care about today’s throw-away attitude. Replace rather than repair., seems to be the status quo.So we’re doing everything we can to help you save our customers money and reduce the impact on the environment. We fix hundreds of phones, tablets and laptops every year and thus help to reduce the environmental impact . Okay, so it’s not going to change the world, but it’s all about doing what you can, where you can.

We love talking to our customers about our services and how they can help them. Our door to door service means you don’t have to leave your own home to get that piece of Tech Repaired!
